Novastar VNNOX – Basic Troubleshooting Steps

Screen Offline/Not Responding

·       Confirm device is powered on and connected to the internet.

·       Check network cables, Wi-Fi, or 4G connectivity.

·       Restart device remotely via VNNOX Control tab.

·       If still offline but content shows, device may have lost internet.

Remote Commands Not Taking Effect

·       Ensure device is “Online” in VNNOX dashboard.

·       Retry command after refreshing dashboard.

·       Check for network interruptions/firewall restrictions.

Content Not Updating

·       Verify screen is online and correct device is selected.

·       Confirm content is supported format.

·       Re-publish content and check for confirmation.

Status Lights (VNNOX Box or Player):

·       Power LED On: Device is powered.

·       Network LED Blinking: Network connection is active.

·       Network LED Off: No network detected—check Ethernet or Wi-Fi settings.

·       Status/Run LED Blinking: Device is operating normally.

·       Status/Run LED Solid or Off: Device may be stuck or not initialized—restart or check firmware.
