Overview:
Follow these steps to resolve common LED screen issues.
1. Check the Power Supply
· Ensure
the screen is plugged in and the power switch is on.
· Inspect
the power cable and outlet for damage or loose connections.
Power Supply Status Light:
o Green LED
On: Power supply is functioning
normally.
o Green LED
Off: No power or failed power
supply—check input voltage, cable, and replace if necessary.
o Blinking
LED: May indicate overload or short
circuit—disconnect load, check for faults.
2. Inspect Signal Connections
· Confirm
all data and signal cables are securely connected.
· Check
sender and receiver cards for proper seating.
· Replace
or reseat loose or damaged cables.
3. Module-Level Checks
· For dark
or flickering sections, gently press the affected module to check for loose
contacts.
· Swap the
suspect module with a working one to isolate the issue.
Receiver Card Status Light:
o LED On:
- Solid: Fault in Receiver Card
- Flashing 1 per second: Working normally from main signal
- Flashing solid 0.5seconds, then fast flash for 0.5seconds: Working normally from backup signal
- Flashing once every 0.15 second: Boot mode, firmware is corrupt or incorrectly sent to screen
- Flashing 3 times then off for 0.5seconds: No video signal to sender card.
o LED Off: Module is not powered or not receiving
data—check connections and cables.
4. Review Software Settings
· Verify
resolution, refresh rate, and color settings.
· Reset or
update control software as needed.
5. Monitor Temperature and Ventilation
· Ensure
fans and cooling systems are operational.
· Clean out
dust and debris from vents.
6. Replace Faulty Components
· Swap
control cards or power supplies with known working units.
· Replace
damaged modules as needed.
